Blackberry - water damage - huh?
So Best Buy has an electronics buyback program - which I amsure many of you are aware of.
As I have upgraded to the Torch, I no longer need my Bold - so I went online to calculate the value - Perfect working order - check. SD card - check. Applicable cables and documenation - check - 88 bucks! nice.
I take it in to an authorized buy back store and I am told that it is worthless because it has water damage - sticker on phone was red. I have never gotten the phone wet - ever (persperation?) - and the battery water sticker was still white - odd.
Best Buy, even though fully functioning and no scratches or anything - "it has no value".
Thoughts ? Recourse? Normally I wouldnt scam - but as there is nothing wrong with the phone and it has never seen water - can I get a new water indicator sticker or anything?
