Dear Mr. BahrainLad,
I'm writing to tell you about some changes we're making to the points earning structure for
Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller. To give you advance notice these changes will not come into effect until
24 February 2011.
Each year we review the number of points we award to members according to the fares they purchase. Since 2005 we've been pleased to keep the same structure. Over the same period meanwhile our pricing structure has seen a number of changes, including the launch of a new travel class in 2010.
As a result, and to make the system fairer for members buying our highest fares, we will be introducing the following points earning table from 24 February 2011:
Single journey price Number of points
> £205 200
£155 to £205 150
£110 to £154 100
£55 to £109 50
< £55 15
When calculating your points please bear in mind that this new structure is based on a single journey price rather than the price of a return.
The number of points required to maintain carte blanche status will remain at 1500 points.
We recognise that this may result in you earning fewer points per membership year.We do hope however that you will continue to take advantage of the wide range of benefits available to you as a member of Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller. If you have any feedback about these changes, please email
[email protected].
Yours sincerely,
Dorothée Mariotte
