My friend's son, who was born in 2003 and didn't see much of the old livery, will go on tantrums when he sees his favorite logo disappear. Whenever they are at Narita, he's always excited when he sees JAL planes.

Don't worry it will take them a while to repaint all the planes. They didn't complete the last repaint till May 2008. That would give your friend's son some time to grow up
But of course if it's just a repaint of the tail, it could be much faster.
Just make sure he didn't do this
