Don't know what you consider affordable, but any east coast non-hub to west coast would be 4 segemnts as long as the east coast city doesn't have service to PHX. Examples would be CAE-CLT-ORD-PHX-LAX or the reverse.

If you want 4 segments all on the east coast, anything like SAV-CLT-PHL-LGA-BOS or reverse.

Chances are that you'll have to use the multi-city tool to price the fare on either.
