I just loaded the app for my itouch... where did you see the complimentary TripIt Pro membership offer? I can't find it.

Update: reread everything... how do they link up? tripit uses my email address for a login, amex a user ID (not email address).

Update2: Ok... for anyone else making the same mistake... it's the Amex Travel app that gives tripit pro access. I believe you've got to log in to tripit on the device, then install the amex travel app and log in to that. After that I got the offer to connect to tripit and upgrade.
