I've occasionally wondered if it makes a difference whether, for example, a standby u/g is requested by the original GE member on behalf of their GE partner? If the GE partner requests an u/g to be paid from their own APD, does that make any difference in priority?

I hadn't realised that they prioritise u/g amongst GE based on earned SP. It would be interesting to see larger carriers like UA trying to sort out u/g priority at the gate based on miles earned!
