Has anyone stayed at the Singapore Sheraton recently? I am staying there in Early September (2, two night stays in consecutive weeks) and would like to know if they have started honoring Platinum benefits.

Has the Starwood Lurker made any overatures to this property regarding this reported oversight of the program. Just interested. Thanks!

I stayed there at the end of June (1 night: 22.06.02 - 23.06.02):
- upgrade to a suite
- very nice welcome gift: thermo coffee mug with "Sheraton Towers Singapure" printed on it (the gift wasn't placed in the room. No, it was given by the check-in agent with a thanks for staying on Starwood properties. The gift was wrapped in white paper)
- fruits/water/wine (has been brought to my room by a hotel employee. She reminded (!) me that my rate includes cleaning of three pieces)
- welcome letter

(I booked online (triple starpoints special in SIN/BKK): the profile contains my status. I checked in without showing my platinum card. I never ask for an upgrade or amenity kit at check-in.)
