Sounds like they added your profile to the booking by mistake. Had it happen to me once a few years back when a guest with a similar name stayed at a hotel I had stayed at previously.
I spoke to SPG about it at the time and they confirmed it was the wrong profile applied by the hotel by error. They kept the points and stay credit on my account though
