Definitely LX in C....

I just flew back the other day and there's no comparison. Just make sure you don't get stuck in an A seat that has someone sitting next to you or you'll be cramped.

As for the JFK idea I would totally try to avoid it. Aside from the fact that there are no *A flights the connections are really dicey with lots of delays and cancellations.
