We all share the same last name, so there's no mistaking we're all one family. Before, when it was just the two of us, we were 'brothers' traveling together. We will of course have all the appropriate documentation proving we're their legal parents, but don't want to encounter any issues during our trip.

So, looking for serious and candid thoughts, feedback on how we would be treated at the safari camps/lodges in Botswana and/or at the hotels at Vic Falls. Thanks in advance for whatever info and advice you all have!
While homosexuality is still a taboo in many places in Africa (you may recall the recent news from Uganda), men travelling together or men holding hands on the streets is not considered anything out of ordinary. The brothers travelling together illusion is easy to maintain and I would encourage you to maintain it (sad, but a fact of life at this time). Staff at lodges and hotels are also more acquainted than most to western customs so they should be bit more accommodating.

I've met gay couples in Tanzania and Uganda and they haven't had any problems. Not sure I recall experiences of gay couples with kids, though.

Cheers,
T.
