If you are connecting to an international flight in MIA, you may not be able to use OLCI, or when using the kiosk, you may need to wait for an agent to complete the c/i process. For some destinations, passport/visa requirements need to be verified.

PS No kiosk or OLCI permitted in YOW (my home airport) last time I flew AA.
