usually they first predict using historical data, then adjust up and down based on demand...... then they also find out when certain days are slow sales day and tend to reduce the prices then.
Yes, I know. I always check on KVS the actual fare class descriptions being sold vs what I see on the ac website and notice certain things that give rhyme and reason to the craziness that I'm seeing. I also see crazy price changes, but I do find reason when doing a little homework.
