Hi all,

don't know if this is the right place, but I am looking at taking my wife away for a long weekend. I would either fly HAM-LHR (one night stop over), then LGW-JER (two night stop over), JER-LGW (one night stop over), then back to HAM, or just spend the 4 days in either London or Jersey. Has anybody got any personal experience of the Hilton Olympia in Kensington? are there any better recommendations in the same price category? Or the Grand Jersey hotel?

Also another quick question, If I was to book the flights together with a stop-over in London in both directions the flights (i.e HAM-LHR-LGW-JER-LGW-LHR-HAM), the total cost of the flights is €717.12. If I was to book the flights without the stop-over in London, the total cost is €455.48. If I was to book the flights separte (i.e HAM-LHR return and LGW-JER return),to include the London stop-over, then the total price is €506.73. Can any one explain why this is?
