I just don't understand why people get upset with this. You simply have to present ANY receipt for gas. I've literally pumped 50 cents into a car I drove 13 miles. Takes 90 seconds out of your day.
Uh... okay... thanks for setting me straight. In the future, I'll think twice about posting my opinion about a CLEARLY posted policy.

It's not 90 seconds to pump the gas, it can be a lot more depending where you are and what your schedule is. But thanks for dismissively adding one more task to my day... that's just what I like.

Oh and, by the way, where I live gas costs $3.50 a gallon. So, by my reckoning, your 13 miles probably used about $1.75 worth of gas. Perhaps I see why the rental companies needed to start this policy.
