We're US citizens flying out of Toronto YYZ airport in a few weeks. It's been a few years since we did this route, and in the past, we had to go through American counter to check in. Since our flight is through Miami and leaves at 6:10 a.m. and then we need to go through customs andt he lines were terrible, we heard you can now do a web check in for Canada flights into the USA. Does anyone have info on this. Also does anyone know when the Customs opens up now in Toronto for American AA terminal?
I haven't flown AA from YYZ in years, but NWA/Delta/Air Canada all let you do web check in.
As far as lines, YYZ can be long, but I find Terminal 3 (where AA goes from) not as long as Terminal 3.
Not sure what time customs opens, but you'll probably need to be there 4:30 at the latest if you don't have a NEXUS card.
