Any idea if they plan on introducing the new J seats to the SFO-HKG route? There are currently 2 nonstop flights a day (with a third flight to be added at the end of 2011) so I'm surprised that the plane on this route is still the older 747 (not the newer 777-300ER) and there's been no mention of upgrading to the new J seats.
The 747-400s will NOT be getting new Business Class seats.
The newer Business Class seats on the 777-300ER will be installed as new aircrafts come on line and older ones will get refurbished as and when the aircrafts need checks. Complete reinstallation will take around 2 years to complete.
