In the last 3 years I have stayed in Taj Exotica, Kanuhura, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, Angsana Velavaru's IOV and just last November Constance Halaveli and Taj Vivanta.
Re Constance, the villas are spacious and service is great. The senior management were ex-Kanuhura when it was One and Only. The pool is on the small side. The one with a decent sized pool is Angsana Velavaru's in-ocean villas but service is one-notch below Constance. The pools are all freshwater.
BTW, I usually go during the low wet season and often the weather is fine. However when I was in Constance, it was raining quite a bit so the water in the pool was not warm. June I think should be hotter.
