Thanks for your interest in the 2011 1K® status promotion. Unfortunately, you’re not eligible because it is available only to a specific group of Mileage Plus® members. We often tailor our promotions according to our members’ geographic locations, flying history or other account activity.

You can still earn 1K status by flying 100,000 elite status miles (EQM) or 120 elite status segments (EQM) on paid qualifying flights United, United Express, Continental and all other Star Alliance® member airlines. When flying on these airlines, be sure to choose to accrue miles in the Mileage Plus program. Elite status miles and elite status segments earned through promotions also count toward elite qualification.
