As I told the NZ management before I saw little value in retaining GE as the benefits for me were not enough above *G. With the very poor earn/burn ratio I do not see why anyone would continue to credit past the 2,500 p.a.
If NZ want more loyalty me they need to vastly improve the value proposition.
I can understand where you're coming from. With weekly TT flights and a couple of bus class trips to Europe each year, I'm well past GE requalification. I've actually begun flying some Qantas TT flights to get my QFF points up as I often fly domestically in Oz and QF Platinum would be handy - and I get airmiles which I don't on AirNZ TT legs
If NZ did something more for their higher earning GE's it would be good.
