G9 is twice daily whereas FZ is twice daily on Fris and Suns and once daily on the other days. Bahrain Air also fly there 5 times a week from BAH (albeit at twice the price).
Anyway the die is now cast and I have plumped for Air Arabia. FWIW, not a single of the premium seats had been reserved at less than a week away from the flight.
