Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a flight from IAD-SIN traveling on UA metal on CO codeshare flight number. The reason is that the CO price is lower than UA flight numbers and it books into B class inventory. So what are the pitfalls?

1- Will I need to wait until checking to request a SWU upgrade or can that be done after booking?

2- I'm hoping that the B fare class sold by CO will post 1.5 EQM's into mileage plus?

If there is another thread that covers this already please let me know.
