Get one of these, it's cheaper. I've never had the courage to use it on a plane, but it would be perfect (assuming boarding at 1L) sitting in F watching the world go by.

When I do use it, i set my phone ring tone to that old time telephone bell. The looks on people's faces when you answer... priceless.

As for the people who make calls "We've landed" -- I do that because if I have only carry on by the time I get to the curb outside the terminal, She Who Must Be Obeyed will just be pulling up. Usually She gives me a ride home but sometimes if I've been gone to long She just waves as She goes by
