Having been nagged by my wife that I hadn't been doing enough to burn our remaining BD miles I fired up ANA to prove to her that there was no C availability to LAX/SFO over the Easter holiday. At least there hadn't been the day before...

My disgust at being proved wrong was tempered by the appearance of four(!) NZ seats in C to LAX on the day we wanted to travel
4 x C NZ LHR-LAX (new Business Premier on 773)
4 x C UA LAX-LHR (new United Business on 772)
67,500 miles plus ~£290 tax pp.
Booked painlessly (for the first time ever) and ticketed within 48 hours. Seats reserved online at the NZ and UA websites - though I'm going to have to ring them to arrange childrens meals (should that be possible in the case of UA).
The unfamiliar 2+4+2 on the United seatmap suggests that the flight is scheduled to be one of the refitted 777s with the new lie-flat beds. Bonus

Having said that I'm still looking for NZ availability on the way back - especially if it means we can miss the Royal Wedding into the bargain
