The second night I checked in inquired about a suite, was told by front desk that there were none available. Ok I can deal with that, but then go up to room and check the Starwood site to see if any suites were available. Yes at least two types of suites were available. Go down to front desk and ask what the deal is, I was told that there were no suites available, but Starwood site indicates there are suites available. Different front desk personnel checks and says yes there are suites available, but they do not upgrade platinum member to suites. That I can deal with, at least she was truthfull, not like the first one that says no suites available. I just hate to be lied to, just be honest thats all I ask.
Now when I just checked in given a room right next to the elevator, nice room for a Plat right next to the elevator. Not going to complain, just take my business down the street and pay 1000 baht more, and receive nice platinum recongition, with the chance to be upgraded to a nice suite, much better lounge, and well trained staff that do not mislead you, when you ask a question.
