40 Hour Layover in HKG, will CX provide a hotel?

I few months pack there was a post about a schedule change that may have caused a passenger to have a 14 hour layover and they were wanting to know if CX provided a hotel.

My wife and I are scheduled to arive at 7:00AM from JNB on one day and fly out at 11:40PM the following day to LAX, which gives us almost a 40 hour layover... we are in Business Class and just curious if there is even a REMOTE possibility they would provide a hotel for us or if we'll have to provide our own accomidations (I DO EXPECT THAT, but just want to ask for feedback).

We are on award tickets from Alaska Airlines and there wasn't availability at the time of ticketing to go on the same day... I'm going to continue to monitor availability to try to tighten the connection but again, just curious on any experience. Thank you in advance,
