EMS Gate 3 is a signed doorway landside just north of the Nissen Terminal area (the check in counters for the new Terminal B.) It opens up into a small driveway off the terminal loop road.

Off the stop of my head, I'd think it'd be pretty close to Gate 22. So it would be a considerable shortcut to Gate 20 than starting from the public entrances of Terminal A or B.

But if Airport police can't open the door quickly, well that's not that effective.

I wonder if that's the reason they made everyone re-clear security tonight. Ouch. Very disruptive process.
