From past musings, I find that legacy carrier FAs are a product of the system that created them. By the time a FA is senior enough to win bids on long haul routes, many tend to be burned out. Toss in a healthy dose of jetlag from trying to cram in as many flights as possible in a short time and you end up with pretty spotty service. A poor relationship between labor and management only adds fuel to the problems.
