Okay, I'm back - back to this hotel and back to this thread. As much action as this trip report has seen, I know I'm mainly talking to myself, but... I'll guess that this is my seventh stay.
I'm a stressed-out individual. High-stress job in a high-stress industry. The closest I come to de-stressed is here.
I walk in, I'm remembered. Everything and everyone works smoothly. The fitness center is big and everything operates correctly. The whole place is clean. I know this is simply "how hotels are supposed to be", but the truth is, they seldom are. The manager clearly cares about the hotel and its guests.
Oh, it'd be great if the neighborhood development wasn't stalled and a grocery store went in next door. And a bookstore with a cat. But short of that...
So I keep coming back (again next week). Between here and my current worksite, I drive past a dozen "name" hotels. But this place is worth the trip.
HHonors property of the year.
