The last two times I flew it last year the planes were wide open. Not trying to say that is the situation all of the time. I doubt it, or they would have already stopped it. Another passenger I talked with on the last flight said he flew it regulary and was worried about it being cut. Trust me I hope they don't, as I prefer NH to UA.
My overall general point was there is sometimes an assumption that JBVs lead to more service. In fact, there being done to cut costs. One way to cut costs once you can clearly coordinate is to reduce service on routes that both parties serve.
When I flew to IAD in mid-October the flight was full in both directions.
Even if NH cuts the route, hopefully they'll add service somewhere else (DEN?)
