I stayed there last year, and it was a Westin hotel at that time. Did not get a suite as Plt. However, I was offered higher floor with breakfast coupons (full American and Chinese breakfast). The location is quite central, and is on the west side of the city (with all the activities, shopping, etc). A taxi ride, base fare is 10 Yuan (approx. US$1.20), can get you anywhere in Shanghai.
