I hereby try to establish the terminology A+ and A- as abbreviations for A-List-Preferred and A-List.
(Makes me think of United's Economy Plus, which is a term that they market, and how it has inspired the corresponding term Economy Minus to refer to the "normal" non-Plus seating....)
