It's been cancelled everyday this week because of the weather mess in the Southeast.

The flight is operated by ASA, which has most of their operations in/out of ATL. The aircraft routings have been distrupted with ATL being hammered with snow and they essentially cut all RJ flying out of ATL when running minimal operations.

MEM despite being a hub, is like an outstation for ASA since they do not have a crew base or a number of aircraft in/out of MEM. Most MEM RJ flying is Pinnacle.

Aircraft and crews are out of position systemwide, but things are starting to get better. You should plan on things being fine tomorrow. If not, they're reroute you on a later MEM-CLE flight or perhaps connect you over another hub.

An example routing for such flight is:
ATL-BTR (overnight) BTR - MEM - CLE - ATL
The line of flying has likely been canceled due an airplane being stuck in ATL or unable to get a crew to operate the flight.
This highlights one of the issues of crossing aircraft, regionals, and crews across multiple hubsites. It may be more efficient use of resources on a good day, but can cascade problems in IROPS when one hubsite goes down.
