Do you ski? Decent mountains in Garmisch/Tirol(Austria) are <90 minutes from Munich by car, and you can even take the train to some mountains as well. Even if you don't ski but have a car you can travel down from Munich to Kochelsee and take the gondola up and do a bit of walking-it's amazing in the snow.
