In my case, I did not have to buy the subscriptions, but merely used my Starwood points which had been accumulated in the usual way..by stays at hotels (not by an affinity card or other methods). Since my stays were all paid for by my company, I consider my 2 available r/t on BA/Concorde to be bascially free. It would be interesting to know how many others did not have to go the subscription route. Although as a longtime reader of InsideFlyer, I do agree that it was a very worthwhile purchase for those who went that route.
