I'm afraid that I see stripping Muslims of US citizenship (as suggested by Lieberman), witch hunts (Peter King), strip searching all Muslim males at airports (Lt. Gen. McInerney), concentration camps (Lindsey Graham), extrajudicial killings (Rumsfeld-Bush-Obama) and speedy and efficient mob justice (Glen Beck and co.) in your future.
And for those who support these measures (polls tell us that approx. 50% of Americans do), perhaps it is wise to remember that this sort of thing knows no bounds once it gets underway. What starts as a mandatory body scan at airports soon blossoms into something far uglier.
Sounds like an OMNI/PR thread. Regarding Lieberman's bill though, nowhere does he indicate he intends to strip Muslims of US citizenship. He simply wants to extend the criteria for which the State Dept. can already anyways strip US citizenship. He wants to include terrorist activities. (And remember, this can be challenged in court and the burden of proof is on the State Dept.) By you saying he wants to strip Muslims, you imply all Muslims and only Muslims are involved in terrorist activities.

Well there is the Saudi's deposition. We don't know (yet) CO's side of the story.

I agree with you, and in general you're right and it's annoying and stupid. However, it happens to be that
entropy does comment a lot in the CO forum from well before the merger. His handle says he's elite, and while he may make comments (and let's face it, we all make comments once in a while about different airlines) he does also have insightful posts.
