Shortly after I replied I got a phone call from a mgr in the email division of the HHonors member services dept. I wasn't able to pick-up since I was at work, but he left a VM.
To my surprise, my account activity is showing a "service center adjustment" of 10K points. :-:
I'm still upset that their website isn't updated, I never got a heads up about the exchange rate change and the original reply from HHonors didn't address my concerns, but in the end, Hilton came through.
