I am a Mariott Gold and booked the AAA rate for a Studio on the Mariott website for a stay over the Christmas weekend. When i checked in i was upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite on the 68 th floor on the East Tower with a view of the strip facing Aria and MGM. I did'nt expect even this. I did call them to enquire if i had the option of a late checkout as a Mariott Gold and the reply was that they did not offer Late checkout benefits.

I used all of their facilities ( the pool, restaurant, casino etc) and i can say that this was one of the best hotel stays i have had.
