Sometimes I don't get it/you...you are flying on AA and had a 100% upgrade rate in 2010, right? And you are complaining that you aren't clearing early enough? And you are aware that you are flying out of one of the most premium heavy US markets where capacity has been trimmed recently?
And now you are asking them to retool their system?
Be careful what you wish for....as long as I am getting near 100% upgrade rates, I personally don't care when I clear.
Take a look at what happened at CO when they "retooled" their system. And soon, we'll see what happens to DL's DM and PMs when DL more aggressively markets buy-ups.
I highly suggest we don't criticize AA's upgrade process unless you're prepared to see your upgrade percentages go sayonara.
