Whilst I agree the high prices are here to stay, now isn't the best time to book. You will get lower fares nearer the time and worst scenario they won't be more expensive. I never book transatlantic trips more than 2 months out in order the get the best fare. Only exception is if the fare is too good to pass on which clearly right now it isn't.
