LAX-AUS, 1-10-11, FLT 3030, Early Bird, got A21, plane was sold out, got an aisle about halfway back, plenty of storage when I sat down. Within a few minutes they were checking bags. Early Bird ^

Question: This was a change from a different flight that had been booked about a month ago, but this flight was booked about a week ago -- does the original Early Bird date matter on a change?
