I feel that way too, especially since many hotels still are not aware, that SPG elite members get their hotel benefits on any rate. Stopping the difference in handling of the reservation types would make this easier, I never understood for instance, why Starwood reservations refuse to enter the SPG number in a priceline reservation, whereas Hyatt's and Hilton's reservation do so without a problem ?
