Halliegrandpa was just making a point. An important reason some premium members went out of the way to stay at Marriott hotels after they reached premium status in 2010 was for the elite nights that could be rolled over to 2011. Now if Marriott doesn't count those nights because they use the LIFO method, then he could have quit after 75 nights including the rollover nights.
