Can you imagine the confusion that would result, generally , if that happened? I think it would be even a bigger issue.
Right now they are being inconsistent from minute to minute. It looks like it is going to shake out on the side of no '09 nights rolling to '11. That's too bad if people made choices or spent money based on what they had been led to believe. I might have pushed an '11 trip back into '10 to get the double nights. Then again, I had already re-qualified 1K and had 154 nights.

Also, there are a TON of PPs, myself included, that have been minted as part of the rollover process. I bet there are several times the number that they once had when it was the top 3%. I expect I will no longer be PP next year and I don't really care. I will likely still make Plat until I reach lifetime plat, it just may take me 13 years to do it instead of 12.

This is an unfortunate blunder by an otherwise good marketing team. I am too far into this to switch as I don't want to start from scratch with another chain.

I will make LT Plat. I will have enough ENs for LT Gold by the time I hit the 12 year mark (37 nights short now without the 54 rollover nights I thought I was getting). I hope they don't go downhill after I get LT status and depend on them for personal travel with my family.

I will never understand the logic of those who would start over with another chain once they reach Plat. They would never get to BE Plat after they Made Plat, they would go back to being nobody at another chain. What is the point of making Plat initially if the result is that you then get to go to a hotel where you have lower status?
