i don't use priceline very often, but did on two recent last minute trips, and was assigned starwood properties both times. as a gold, i was treated very well at both properties.

at the sheraton university city (philadelphia) i received a corner room on the highest non-club floor; just last weekend at the westin fairfax in d.c., i received not only a room on the top floor, but also a room upgrade to a very large room.

both of these properties really impressed me, as i did not feel that the priceline rate affected the hospitality offered. it certainly reinforces the loyalty i feel toward starwood.
