Itinerary change - any recourse?

So you guys have replaced Google as my go-to travel question source

Just got an email from Delta informing me of an itinerary change for a flight in March from JFK to MSY (1 stop at DCA).

NOW they have me stopping in DCA and in ATL on the way and getting in 30 minutes later. Obviously this isn't the end of the world, but I just wondered if it was worth calling Delta to try and work out something different, maybe a new itinerary with one stop. Not a big fan of multi-layover treks. But I wasn't sure if I had any rights or my ticket is my ticket and that's it. I am a SkyMiles member but no kind of big roller and this was a non-refundable fare sale.

If there's nothing I can do, no biggie, just thought I'd ask the experts.

Thanks in advance...
