I second that even though my case is a little bit different. I just got off the phone with the Platinum desk,. They told me that my 63 stay nights were counted first and 12 of my 17 rollover nights from 2009 were used to make up 75 nights. Therefore, I did not have 5 rollover nights (17+63-75) from 2010 as I thought because the 17 rollover nights should have been counted first. They agreed that it did not make sense, but that was what Marriott was doing.
This is almost like those credit card companies that used to apply your payments to the lowest interest portion of the balance first. This is dirty.
