Got my bag back. Trashed and worn out (and with some green mold inside), but back nevertheless. More than 3 weeks after it went missing. For some reason (probably no agreements) Tallinn Airport Lost & Found refused to deliver AF bagīs to home addresses (they usually kindly deliver), so I had to go to airport and collect it there. Then L&F guy typed something into computer and truth revealed itself: apparently bag had spent some time at CDG, then travelled to SAO, spent long time there at back-office and eventually it was flown back to Europe.
Of course I am sort of glad, but its irritating that AF is so bad at matching luggage tags with lost luggage files in their computers (or reading their own files and communicating info to the customers). I was now told that my bag made it to Brazil already on the 20th of Dec, but even on 30th of December Air France in Europe didīnt had any clue about whereabouts of my luggage.
I vaguely wonder what I should demand or expect for compensation.
Hope it works out for all of those whose bags are still missing.
