Thanks Mountain Trader for the comments. I am trying to inject some reality aspects of the mileage game to the folks who are new to this. Having a lot of miles after lots of spending and at the end you still have to buy pay tickets because the availability is not there would be a very hard blow on one's mind, especially the said spending could yield some cold hard cash by spending on other cards...
Not to mention the impact of such demanding flying on one's body even if you do get lucky and get the seats. I do not want to go into the risk of the possible trouble of DVT after cramping one's body in a coach seat for such long duration with just couple hours in between connection...
Well, we have laid down the pros and cons it is up to the OP to decide what is best for him and his family.
