But with the new point currency , I doubt if SWA can offer more expensive SPG conversion rates than the majority of airlines ( most of them offer 1:1 ). If they do 1500 spg> 1200 swa, it will be an obvious sign of RR2.0 devaluation, which was not noted whith the credit currency.

It seems logical that a new conversion rate of 1:1 ( 1200 spg> 1200 swa points) will be offered after 03/01. Just a guess.
Do note that both United and Continental transfer from SPG at 2:1. When I inquired about why the reason most likely given was that they are both programs heavily involved with Chase and Chase is likely the one not allowing SPG to offer an attractive rate. So its quite possible that Chase puts the screws on Southwest transfer too.
