Another question that I didn't really see answered in any of the other threads...I have a Starwood Preferred Guest card and a CP card (0 pts on both). I am going to upgrade to gold (by way of being plat. on NWA). Does it matter which account I upgrade on? It seems to me that I would have to pick one to start applying my points to. Thanks!</font>
Not sure how you ended up with duplicate accounts, but it happens. I would say pick one you like over the other - maybe one has an easier number to remember - and then have the other one merged into it. Then, you can do the Gold voodoo thing with Northwest Airlines WorldPerks.
Be forewarned, it is against the Terms and Conditions to have more than one account in your name. Not that the SPG Police are coming to get you or anything, but the database regularly catches these things and combines duplicate accounts of it's own accord. If that happens, you won't have a choice over which account is merged and which one remains active.
